My decision to pursue graduate study is underscored by my desire to be a part of the graduate program at institution. Beihang University offers the flexibility needed for such a vast and rapidly changing field. The research facilities and the faculties at the university are par excellent.
Communications is an industry that has changed our lives. In a very short period it has changed the way we have looked at things since centuries. It is one industry that is going to shape our future for centuries to come. Hence my desire to do Ph.D in Telecommunication engineering with communications as my major.
My interest in electronics & communication blossomed during my high school years. It was the time when technology had begun to make an impact on the lives of people in PAKISTAN. Hence engineering with Telecommunication as my major was the first choice for my undergraduate studies. Right since the beginning of my undergraduate study Communication is a subject that has fascinated me with its power of applications. The subjects that I have studied include Data Communication, Communication systems, Wireless Communication, Digital Electronics& Control Systems. These laid the foundation for my courses in Electronic Communication & Communication Systems at a later stage. My undergraduate studies already focus on the Data Communication. I have done Master in electrical engineering with communications& Electronics as major field .The subjects that I have studied include Advanced Electronics, Optical Fiber Systems, VOIP & Wireless Communication.
I had worked as Assistant Manager RF Optimization at PTCL (Etisalat) for the past 5 years. I am now working as Radio Network Planning Engineer in ZTE Pakistan. I am responsible to improve the quality of signals of the Network. I have also worked as a Engineer Fixed Line at ZTE PAKISTAN for One & Half Year. I was responsible for testing & maintenance of the different communication systems.
During the course work of Master at University of Engineering & Technology Peshawar, I have come across several Professors. Most of them work in different areas of communications. Interactions with them have made me realize the vastness and the scope of communications. My discussions with them convinced me that specializing in communications will suit me very well.
The subject of research which interests me very much is Wireless communication system. Electronics & Communication is another research subject which arouses my curiosity. I am eager to find out more about the applications of Wireless communications systems. I am also practically working in the field of wireless communication so I can also add my practical knowledge to theory as well.
In addition, I have written a research paper on “Acoustic Source Detection & Localization using sensor networks” which was published at international conference held in Malaysia on 26 November, 2013.
It is a strong belief in my family that the Australian education system has the best to offer in the whole world. If I can get an opportunity to be a part of that intellectually stimulating environment, I am sure my talents will be put to optimal use.
Pakistan is a developing country with an enormous potential in the information technology business. To serve the needs of this developing industry and more important its vast population, communications is going to become of utmost importance. Thus conditions here are very conducive to supplement my aspirations when I return after completing my graduate studies.

The studying in China is my dream as China is progressing really fast in Telecommunication. The interdisciplinary nature of the program is especially attractive to me, as this will give me a much broader, more practical understanding of all aspects of telecommunications, including the business and regulatory aspects as well as the engineering side. In addition, the hands-on focus of the program and the links to industry will prepare me for long-term success. With the inherently international nature of today’s telecommunications industry, it is important for me to study in an international environment away from my home country, and doing so in one of the top engineering university in China will certainly give me a unique advantage in my career pursuits. One of the main purpose of my study in China is to learn the Chinese culture. I love their culture and the way of living. I am existed to see, why they are improving so fast in technology. I want to be a part of the advancing technology in China and this scholarship is the gateway to fulfill my goals.

Entry Requirements
Applicants must- be a citizen of a country other than the People’s Republic of China, and be in good health both mentally and physically.- be a master’s degree holder under the age of 40.-Applicants for English-taught programs shall provide relevant English proficiency certificates. The minimum score for different English tests are: IELTS 6.0 Academic, TOEFL 90, Duolingo 105, within 2 years. It is recommended to submit GRE scores at the same time (if any).Note: The university may assign students to the Hangzhou campus, and students should be willing to accept this arrangement.

Prospective diploma winners must submit official proof of student status with the expected graduation date by their current school.
The language of documents should be in English or Chinese or attached with translations in English or Chinese.*8. Academic transcripts (from the undergraduate program onwards) issued and sealed by the attending university
Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization.
*9. Two letters of recommendation (written only in Chinese or English) from professors or associate professors including the comprehensive evaluation of the applicant.
*10. Certificate from the financial guarantor of the applicant and bank statement (for self-support applicant)

The physical examinations must cover all the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete records or those without the final suggestion or signature of the attending physician, the official stamp of the hospital, or a sealed photograph of the applicants are invalid. The result is valid for only 6 months.

For applicants who are in China: If you are an employee, you still need to provide employment separation certificate and your current residence permit.
